EZSigma Group was founded because we are a group of people who are passionate about helping organizations exceed their customers' expectations by improving one process at a time.   

OUR HISTORY


EZSigma Group launched in 2000 with the name e-Zsigma (Canada) Inc., as a technology company however we quickly evolved to become a Lean Six Sigma training and consulting organization which supported the growing need for continuous improvement, process quality expertise and support within Canada.


By 2002, we shifted our focus to deliver high quality, easy to understand (and relevant to the Canadian market) Lean Six Sigma training making us the first organization in Canada solely dedicated to providing Lean Six Sigma education, certification and operational solutions. We soon partnered with York University’s Schulich School of Business to become the Program Director for the Lean Six Sigma Centre of Excellence in 2004 and shortly thereafter partnered with five other universities in Canada delivering Lean Six Sigma workshops for their continuing education departments which continues to this day.


We have continued to expand our offerings and have partnered with organizations such as Bay3000 Consulting, The Quality Group, ProcessMA Statistical Software, Creato Performance Solutions and OTRS Kaizen software to ensure we continue to provide the best, and most current, solution for our clients.

Every member of our consulting and training team is a proven thought leader with significant experience in Continuous Improvement, Project Management and Soft Skills Development. 

Each person brings a unique set of skills and expertise from every industry to our organization.

Jeff Woods

Jeff Woods is an MBB with 20+ years in senior roles in strategy alignment, business division management and operational execution.


He has a successful track record and reputation for breaking down and understanding business processes and is an expert in business re-engineering. 


Jeff has in-depth experience understanding and aligning the people, process and technology to the desired business model and is a seasoned coach to senior leaders helping them to develop listening and influencing skills.

Tony White

Tony is often referred to as the "people skill and leadership specialist," as he speaks and trains on numerous disciplines ranging from communication and team leadership to change management and negotiation skills and has done so globally with hundreds of organizations.


His 3 decades + of business experience is truly unparalleled as he has strategically built his credibility by being involved in numerous high-profile projects and business ownership ventures.


In addition to his master’s degree in management, Tony holds numerous training and facilitation certifications.

Rod Morgan

Rod is one of Canada’s foremost Lean Six Sigma trainers and practitioners. He draws on over thirty years of change management, quality systems deployment, project leadership, and organizational transformation, and has instructed and coached thousands of Black Belts, Green Belts and Champions in Canada and internationally.


Over the last ten years, a significant amount of his work has centered on supporting management teams and the front-line staff in major hospitals, primary and tertiary care centers, mental health, long-term care and a variety of local and federal government healthcare agencies, advising on the strategic deployment of Lean and quality strategies and providing training, coaching and mentoring.

Peter Boyle

Peter is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who has spent more than 20 years in project driven environments. He brings his hands-on experience and practical approach as well as his adult learning expertise and a good sense of humor to each session to ensure an effective and fun learning experience. 


Peter regularly teaches a wide range of programs in all aspects of project management, communication and motivation, conflict resolution, leadership, business analysis, and ITIL. As a consultant, he assists companies with their project needs by facilitating workshops and assisting with methodology development and crisis management for troubled projects.

Bruce Miyashita

Bruce has held several executive positions including Head of the Process Centre of Excellence at BMO Financial Group, Vice-President Six Sigma at Maple Leaf Foods Inc., and Director of Strategic Initiatives at Bombardier Inc.


He was also a consultant at McKinsey & Company as an expert in Lean and Operations Management. He has an undergraduate degree in Arts and Science from McMaster University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. 

Eric Young

Eric Young has been providing support services to Contact Centers & Back Office departments since 1987. He is known for improving performance in sales, service & back office departments without cutting headcount or sacrificing service delivery. 


Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and also a Bachelor of Commerce degree, He also has Six Sigma Masters Black Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Management certifications.


He is also a past Executive Committee member of The Canadian Marketing Association.

Rita Trudeau

As a project management professional, Rita has held project management positions in prominent engineering, government, training, and consulting firms.


She regularly teaches programs in areas of Project Management and soft skills. Having facilitated courses and spoken at international conferences she uses hands-on experience and adult learning principles to create effective and highly engaging learning experiences. 

Jim Shaver

Jim is an accomplished professional who has extensive experience in continuous improvement, change management, root cause analysis, LSS, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), 5S, ISO, Standardization, and Statistical Analysis. 


Throughout his career he has leveraged these skills to provide hands-on project leadership, coaching and mentoring. 


Some of his accomplishments include leading global teams in Design and Process Engineering and the DMAIC methodology to meet critical KPI metrics, reduce cycle time, improve quality and product performance as well as achieving over $20M in cost reductions and other key performance milestones, both in production and transactional processes. 

Vern Campbell

Vern has over twenty years of experience in the field of strategy development, strategy implementation and deployment, KPI systems development and deployment, and organizational process improvement. He has consulted and trained a wide variety of private and public sector industries and enterprises: agriculture, food processing, healthcare, non-profit, manufacturing, human resources/payroll, electric utilities, packaging, education, regulatory bodies, to name but a few.
